i'm sorry for everybody in the world, i guess

before all of you start admiring my ability to brilliantly come out with the best piece of wisdom at the blink of an eye, i want to admit that that piece doesn't come from me. it was actually a line from a movie, which i'm afraid i still can't recall the name. yeah, that's the perks of being bored and out of your wits. you spend your time watching too many movies that you can't keep track of them. life is a bitch sometimes, i know.

anyway, i scared the hell out of many people with my last tirade. it's okay people, i'm fine and i'm still sane. thank you for asking. i'm silently crying now. *sobs*.

since i have too much free time and the music of this generation is depressing the hell out of me, i spend my days rummaging in the 90s songs archives and wah-la! my spirits are lifted up. Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Pixies, Primitive Radio Gods, The Verve, Verve Pipe, Shawn Calvin; man, they were simply awesome! of course, the 90s also bring us Macarena (i'm ashamed to admit that i still remember the dance routine), Achy Breaky Heart (i broke a rib because i laughed too hard at the video), Be My Lover by La Bouche (even a 3-month-baby can write a better song), all No Mercy songs, How Bizarre by OMC (dude looked like a pimp) and Barbie Girl.

Barbie Girl?

yup, Barbie Girl. as a Barbie lover, i abhor anything that dishonours Barbies.

oopsie.

talking about OMC reminds me that in the year 2007, he recorded a single, "4 All of Us" and it wasn't bad. in fact, it was pretty good, even if i have to say it myself. it just goes to show that even the worst singers in the 90s are better than most of today's singers. now, i can stop worrying why i hate most of today's songs. i thought there must be something wrong with me but it turned out that it was normal to hate them. *phew*.

and that brings me to Flo-Rida's remake of Dead or Alive's "You Spin Me Round". how dare he sing one of the fiercest songs ever by the fiercest singer alive? that's blasphemous! if i were Pete Burns, i would definitely slap the fucking out of Flo (i think he ripped off Flo of Diner Dash's fame name. hah, he's a sissy! i knew it!) although i knew why Pete didn't do it. he's afraid that he will come out with broken acrylic-ed nails from the encounter. of course, if i have Pete Burns' store-bought prettiness, i would limit myself too.

i don't limit myself to the 90s songs only, because i also spend my days watching 90s movies. The Shawshank Redemption, Pulp Fiction, Fargo, The Usual Suspects, the list just goes on and on. i tried to watch Titanic for the 64,535,423rd time, but still, i couldn't go past the 15th minute. i think i lack the chesinees needed in watching Titanic and i really hope it'll elude me forever. 3++ hours?? no thank you. i'd rather see Adam Lambert's fabulous pictures anyway.

now i remember why i love the 90s era so much.

p/s: You Spin Me Round came out in 1985, but it's still a fierce song.

Errr... Where's the Barbie Girl's video. LoL Now that you mentioned it, I'm recalling the tune again.
