During Euro 2012, I took a one-month leave for my Euro trip. And during World Cup 2010, I took a three-week leave because I sat for 2 papers at that time and my audit firm gave out a week of study leave for each paper. The other week was because my ass was too lazy to go to work so I took an extra week of unpaid leave.
Before that, I was a student, you know, skipping classes and all that.
Let's just say that now I get the whole "too tired to work" complaints everyone seems to spout everytime a major football tournament happens.
But hey, we're only at Day 3, and this World Cup is already heaps better than Africa 2010. I can't miss anything!
Okaylah I'm going back to sleep now.
P/s: Did anyone watch the Côte d'Ivoire v Japan match? Did anyone see the women dancing on the stands? Do you get what I said about them and their aversion to bras now? Everything jiggled.
