I applied for a writer position at one of the daily newspapers last week and they called me to set up an interview this afternoon! But, I'm in the middle of a training right now and the Principal has cautioned me because I've been taking too many MCs since I started working at the firm so to take an EL is suicidal. Urgh I need to think about this more thoroughly.
It's freelance, in case any of you were wondering. Haha I only told a soul about that but sadly, he's having the time of his life chasing girls and surfing to his heart's content right now. I'm sure if I can reach him, I'd still keep this as a secret. Malu lah.
While I was taking the call, one of my officemates eavesdropped on my conversation so I had to tell her too. I'm having a really hard time to keep my dislike of her. She's one of those people who likes to talk about herself all the time. Man, if I say that I can play bass, she'd say that her Mak Cik can play bass too. If I say that I've bungee-jumped before, she'd say that one of her friends have done that too. And she's very clingy. Semua benda pun nak berteman. Rimas betul.
And she talks all the time. I feel like slapping her everytime she opens her mouth. Lepas tu ada hati lagi nak betulkan orang lain when it's clear that she's wrong.
Fine lah, 94.8% of the time I'm like that also but she's worse than me! So if I cannot tahan with her, then most people would not too.
Tomorrow is Slash's concert and I'm going to Cameron on Friday. The bus will be leaving at 8AM sharp sharp sharp sharp sharp (the HR manager stressed on the "SHARP" thingy so often that I cannot resist) and most of the people are already worried whether they'll manage to get to the office building on time haha. Reason #1 why I love working in an audit firm-everyone is late, not just me! Reason #2-there's no punch card.
Urgh I should write something about Mantra but I need to start packi....what? There's another party making a bid on Liverpool? Give me 10 minutes to read everything.
Errr...make that an hour.
