If the abilites to play a piano (think Lady Gaga) or a guitar (think Taylor Swift) and write half-cooked, two-lined songs are regarded as talents, then I must be more talented than those two twats. Besides, I can write more than three lines! And I can make a line rhymes! Well, if I put my mind to it lah. Give me a month or two to come up with that line.

I can tell you a million jokes about "horns" and "goats" but I'm gonna keep them to myself hehe.

Plus, Lady Gaga and Taylor Swift are as original as Heidi Montag's face and boobs. Just because they make "cool" (insert a thousand question marks here) songs, that doesn't mean they're talented. I'm getting sick of all that "I'm original/She's original/They're original" bullcraps. Enough la. At the end of the day, these girls are as original as everyone else. Which means that I'm more original than them because I'm not everyone else.

Sorry, I have to let that out of my chest :)

Anyway, even a person who has a shitty taste in music like me knows that there are limited notes in the western music (as opposed to eastern music? I don't know what else to call that type of music. "Modern music" sounds wrong)-there are 12 notes altogether I believe, so there are no surprises why lots of songs sound the same. I know, I know, I make a lot of noise about that but then most of the things that come out of my brain are crap anyway. And since I know about music as much as I know what's going to happen tomorrow, I'm not gonna say anything more.

I think some of the songs require different chords though and not just C, G, Am and F but hey, that doesn't make them any more creative. A same rhythm is still a same rhythm. And that's the whole point of the video.

And that brings me to Tilu-Ku Bukan Aku.

I know the moment you click "play", you'll have flashes of other videos and other songs. I'm gonna be nice here even though the boys have let me down ONCE fucking AGAIN, it's Monday already and I avoid unoriginal artists (man, even using that word feels wrong) like I avoid the plague. I think the song and the video are decent and homegirl has a distinctive voice, which is enough for the Malaysian music industry. People are going to compare her with Yuna and Lenka and boom! the next thing you know, she's a big name already. Oh wait! Maybe that's not a bad thing because I think she's better than them anyway. And maybe I shouldn't point out that those two are as authentic as the 99% original England kit that you can buy at Padang Besar.

Oh wait, I just pointed that out. Silly me.

note: okay I just knew that Tilu is the name of the whole band. I thought that Tilu is homegirl's name! But what I said earlier still stands.
