You're never far away

i have always been a big fan of Jack White. granted, i knew him from Fell In Love With A Girl, but hey, admiration knows no boundaries and shame. i even sat through Cold Mountain for him (and Phillip Seymour Hoffman). it's easier to see using the below equation;

Jack White + ukelele + Phillip Seymour Hoffman = an orgasmic experience.

watch the movie if you don't believe me.

anyway, i think that Jack White is going to be greater than some of the best musicians we have ever known if he's allowed to let his imaginations roam free. just watch the Coke Ad in which he was given a free rein to do anything his heart desired. let me tell you that the result was just amazing.

so, when i first heard about The Dead Weather, i was giddy with excitement. Jack White, Jack Lawrence, Dean Fertita and Alison Mosshart all in one group? this is just too delicious to even bear! i don't know why, but the more i hear of Alison, the more she sounds like Janis Joplin i think.

Jack White on drums? orgasmic i tell you, orgasmic!!

actually, i wanted to write about something else but the video of Jack White drumming away made me realised that it would be blasphemous of me not to show this to the dua, tiga kerat people who read my blog.
