you probably wonder why i didn't write about Wolverine, right? i made quite a fuss about that movie, so why go all quiet now?
to tell you the truth, Wolverine disappoints me. there's nothing special about that movie, well, except for that nekkid scenes. the only complimentary word that came into my mind when i was watching was "neat".
the effects are neat, not good or great. the scripts are neat, sometimes witty but even my 9-year-old cousin could write a better one. the fighting scenes are neat, but they didn't blow me away. what a letdown. the opening sequence of Wolverine looks really promising and stylish but damn, after that, it misses every target.
Wolverine puts too much input in the love story between Logan and Kayla a.k.a Silverfox, something i can do without. the movie takes too much time to explain things which would've been better if the things are left unsaid. there are too little characters developments that i can't help but wonder what's the purpose of including them too. and Gambit, man, that Gambit, his appearance is not even worth mentioning. he's only there to appease the Gambit's fanatics.
i put too much hope in Wolverine. maybe, if i went to the cinema with zero expectation, i wouldn't be this disappointed or would at least enjoy the movie. the only saving point about Wolverine is that it's not as shitty as Watchmen. that movie is the hot mess of all hot messes.
God i hope the other summer movies will be better than Wolverine.

i tried to sugarcoat it, but i couldn't find the words. didn't you say that you wanted your boyfriend to pay for it?
