hats off to the Turks who displayed 2 of the most memorable matches in Euro history, even if they lost in one of them. even with 9 replacements, they managed to get on the Germans' nerves. i think it was only luck that Lahm scored the all-important goal (it certainly came from nowhere). don't mistake me, Germany played well last night, although there was a tiny little hope in everyone that it was Turkey who would be going to final.
hohoho, finally Germany in the final, after so many years (i think the last time they were in the final was in World Cup 2002 against Brazil). will they be lifting the coveted trophy? we'll wait until this 30th.
and who will be their opponent? will it be Spain or the underdog Russia? my gut tells me it's going to be Spain (they did beat the Russians after all) even though i'm hoping that the underdog will do the unthinkable, again.
