after many sleepless nights and too much time wasted doing nothing and a lot more on waiting, the work was finally over. it wasn't any ordinary work, mind you, but the APAcS annual dinner. true, it wasn't as grand as of the previous years' and not as smooth-sailing as everyone wanted it to be, i heard, but we definitely pulled it off. even though i played only a small part in everything, i think i'm entitled to some appreciation, even if it's a small one. i know i need some appreciation right now, especially after the dealing with a bunch of the most foul-tempered people on earth. percayalah, cuma orang yang sabar dan berhati mulia macam saya je yang boleh keep up dengan mereka-mereka ini.

two weeks prior to the night, i lost my glasses in Mid Valley, and trust me, it wasn't any of my fault. it still pains me to talk about it, as i've lost a chunk of my savings in getting a new one. and to think about it, i've spent more in this month alone than i did in the last 3 months before this month. i think i can sum everything up like this:
