"I want a divorce"

Someone called the radio this morning and told the world that he's having an affair and seeking advice on how to divorce his wife of 3 years. Yeah, I know! How hard it is to divorce your wife whom you just married 3 years ago that you have to call the radio and seek the DJ's advice huh? Can't you just google about it? I'm sure there are millions of articles on how to divorce your wife floating on the webspace. And you can do it all without telling anyone about it, well, except your soon-to-be-divorced wife, I think.

Men these days sigh, you have to tell them everything.

So I told my colleagues about this and I mentioned 'he's seeking solace' several times while telling the story because well, the caller said the words several times as if he wanted to justify his affair. Well, it's his affair and it's none of my business, but hey, he made it public so of course I can snark all I want.

And my colleagues' reactions, were, as expected, priceless. There were a few gems coming out of their lips, but my favourite was this, courtesy of one of the Akaks;

"'Seeking solace' tak bermaksud dia kena masuk dalam semua lubang yang dia jumpa!"

She said this incredulously, and so comically serious, that I had to laugh. And I don't know, should I put a NSFW tag here? Manalah tahu kan.

There were times when I truly had enough of them and their cattiness, but moments like this remind me there were some good times too.

I'm so gonna miss them when I leave.
