I bumped into an ex-schoolmate in KL Sentral today, and that meeting reminds me of a story that happened in 2005.

I was on my way home from Pudu one weekend, and I bumped into the ex-schoolmate in the Komuter. I still remember that it was quite late, and I was about to miss an important match between Man Utd and a team that for the life of me I can't recall right now. I bet it was Liverpool because Liverpool = forgettable. Girlfriend asked me to go minum with her and I said, "Oh cannot, I have to watch this match. Ada Man Utd and Liverpool!" or something along that line. And she said," Man Utd! I love Beckham! He's hot la!".

The thing is, that meeting took place some time in 2005 (I remember that it was 2005 because Chelsea won that season). And here's the deal, Beckham has been playing for Real Madrid for more than a year (I think) at that time.

So anyway, the reason why I'm telling you this is because one of the first things she said to me was,"Wani, you still watch football eh? I watched football at 5AM in mamak this morning! So cute la the fellas. No wonder you like to watch them".
