I watched Skyfall yesterday and man, all I can say is that Skyfall is the best Bond movie ever. I just loved everything about the movie. I went to the cinema thinking they couldn't top Casino Royale, and in some parts, they couldn't, but I felt like Skyfall is more connected to the real world than any of its predecessors.
I always have a fondness for Bond movies, even the cheesiest ones, but I can't quite comprehend the dumbass inventions before Daniel Craig took over as 007, especially the ones in the movies where Pierce Brosnan was Bond, and the invisible car was totally pushing it. I'm not saying that it couldn't be done, especially if you had someone as brilliant as Q in your team, I'm just saying that it was totally pushing it. It just didn't seem real.
That's the reason why I like Daniel Craig as James Bond. He's real, he could be one of us. The brilliant plots in Casino Royale and Skyfall (I'm giving Quantum of Solace a meh) totally helped to cement his position as the best Bond. He's a charming James Bond, but not to the point of being too cheesy (like Sean Connery and Timothy Dalton) and he kills with his bare hands, not with the help of some surreal inventions. And I love British dry humour. I don't know, I find it so funny, especially when it's not intentionally mentioned.

Oh and talking about Casino Royale reminds me of A Royal Affair, a Danish movie which stars Mads Mikkelsen (he played the baddie in Casino Royale and starred in one of my favourite movies, After the Wedding. Go check the movie out if you haven't) but sadly, the movie won't be shown in Malaysia :( I asked GSC already. Terpaksa melanun.
Google about A Royal Affair if you're interested to know because suddenly I'm too sleepy to continue typing (read: it's raining and my laziness level has increased tenfold). This movie is based on a true story about the Danish monarchy and it's a very interesting story. Go check it out echewah cakap macam artis.
