It matters.

I had such a bad day today.

First, I woke up later than usual. Then, I burned myself while ironing. And of course there would be accidents on a Monday morning, which made the journey to my office longer. And then, during mid-morning, the assistant manager told me that I need to do 2 reports on top of my increased workload (I'm currently doing the work of 2 people, mine and an Akak who is on maternity leave), and then before lunch, the HoD's secretary told me that she and the boss are resigning.

All that happened before lunch.

Maybe I should tell you this.

I took a-month-leave last month. When I handed in my leave application for approval, my immediate boss (a senior GM) refused to approve my leave and told me to ask for the HoD's approval because she said "it's beyond her authority to approve such a long period of leave". I think I wrote about her in an earlier post but my ass is too lazy to look through the history and I'm too lazy to repeat everything I have written but I think it's sufficient to say that she is the true definition of a lady boss. The reason why she didn't approve my leave was not because she doesn't have the authority to do so, she just wanted to make my life difficult. I didn't know much about how things work even after 7 months of working there so how was I supposed to know that I wasn't supposed to just knock on the Hod's door and demand that she give me approval. So right after  the Lady Boss said that, I went straight to the HoD's office (much to everyone's amazement) and showed her my leave application. You know what she did? She asked me where I was going, and then she signed my leave application. Right in front of my eyes.

Wani 1. Lady Boss 0.

Her secretary sent me a long-ass email telling me about the office protocols yada yada yada that day but I couldn't care less about any of that because weeiii my leave was approved already weeiiii.

And now I have lost interest to continue writing this post haha. Internet is going so crazy it's pissing me off. But how to end this? Pshaww. Just connect the dots and you'll get what I'm trying to say.
