Apple and orange

Contrary to what I might have led you to believe, I actually don't care about anyone's political views. Doesn't matter lah if you're for or against the government, as long as you don't do or say stupid shits then I'm okay with you.

What I'm not freaking okay with are the slanderous/almost-slanderous/stupid/borderline insane statements given by both sides of the parties and the actions that accompanied the statements. You want to give statements? Then fine, but show us proof. Everyone, including their uncles and aunties has a camera phone these days, so give the public pics or it didn't happen. But don't lie to the public about the pics lah, because the public is not stupid and knows about things too. Even if the public knows nothing, there's google. 

Stupid is as stupid does.

Bersih 3.0 or #OccupyDataran or the PTPTN demo or any demo doesn't bother me that much, because I firmly believe that everyone (except for a few, like killers or child molesters) has a right to voice out his/her opinion. Doesn't matter lah if their opinions are wrong, but hey, who am I to say that to their faces? I'm wrong 99% of the time too. As long as they don't try to force their opinions down my throats, then I'm (kinda) okay with everything. Yes I do grumble about things like roadblocks and shits everytime a demo is underway, but to actually say what they believe in is wrong is not the way, I think. At least they believe in something. I can only hope that my belief is as strong as theirs.

That is why I don't get why some Malaysians, Malays (the two are purposely divided) and politicians are condoning the act of violence committed against the people of opposing opinions. Now that is something I can clearly say is something wrong. Why, does it offend you physically? Does your body spouts visible bruises and bumps whenever you hear a person's political opinion which happens to differ from yours? Does it give you a heart attack or give you cancer everytime you are near them? Or is it just because they have different political views from yours, they deserve to get beaten? Yang dok memukul tu pun satu, kata berpegang kepada Amar Makruf Nahi Mungkar tapi dari awal lagi aku dok dengar pasal Nahi Mungkar je, Amar Makrufnya kat celah mana? That's me being judgemental.

And I don't get why people like to compare apples to oranges. They do not compute. Like I said, stupid is as stupid does. 

Am I a supporter of the Opposition? Even I'm not too sure. I don't think I can handle their craziness. But I can tell you something that I'm sure of; I don't condone violence.
