I don't know whether it's in my nature to be skeptical of anything and everything or because I'm just a cynical jerk who thinks everyone is wrong unless they're proven right but due to past mistakes I've learned to listen to both sides of the story before believing in anything.

And it really irks me when some people just percaya bulat-bulat what they read on the internet before looking further or confirming the truth of what they've read lepas tu terus spread the lies. It's one thing for you to believe in that crap, but to force everyone to believe in that crap too? Thanks but no thanks.

And that's what I think about the whole KONY2012 propaganda. 

Posting the KONY2012 video all over Facebook, Twitter and blog will not stop the war. I don't get why people have to sound so patronising and say things like "I've done my part, now do yours if you want to stop this man". We can't stop this man, why don't you people get that? There are reports that said that Kony is not even in Uganda and LRA's number has diminished to only a few hundred so tell me what the hell are you guys fighting for?

You can google why people are throwing shades all over this shit because what I have in mind is a repeat of what these people have voiced out loud and they put their thoughts into words better than I ever could. And don't bother saying anything before you listen to both sides of the story. Go google, and maybe you'll understand why things don't appear as black-and-white as it first appeared to be.

But I just want to add, you can believe in everything you want, go support any cause that's dear to your heart, but please don't do it because it's the latest fad or because it's a cool thing to do. Do it because you want to help and make a change. And please please please do a research on a charity organisation before you start throwing away your money. I know, most charities are very dodgy but the least we can do is to make sure that our hard-earned money go to the ones that are legit.
