I weep

I spent the weekend in Melaka, thus gave the illusion that I actually have a life due to the pitiful numbers of hours I spent online in the last couple of days.

Nothing interesting happened to me in Melaka, but I saw something that made me weep for the loss of humanity in today's society.

I saw a woman left her cat at the Stadhuys car lot.

The scene unraveled like this. Woman left cat at the car lot, cat tried to follow the woman, woman kicked the cat, and then ran to her car. I swear, I didn't exaggerate.

Wanted to bring the cat home but it was too scared to be near strangers. Everytime we came within its comfort zone, it darted away. So we just left some food for it and dear Lord, it was heartbreaking to see how the kitty cat just wolfed everything down. Bitch didn't even feed this poor creature before she left the cat.

From the looks of everything, I think the cat is a she.

I don't know, I can only hope that the cat will live a better life from now on. I bet everything's better than living with such a heartless woman.
