I think street demonstrations don't bother me as much as the reactions towards the street demo and today's court decision affirms that. Yang mati-mati menentang tu satu hal, yang mati-mati menyokong tu pun satu hal jugak (note the mati-mati) Only a thin line separates the two I think. Well, that's the impression I get after reading every article/tweet/Facebook status I could lay my eyes upon so forgive me if you feel insulted.

I see so many quotes that are just begging to be named as quote of the day but this one tops the cake;

"esok jln jem ke??...dgr2 ade perhimpunan...so sesape yg dlm fb ni penyokong kuat phimpunan ni trun la sok..bbual je xgune..tunjukkan semangat...hahaha...yg pntng esok aku kije cr rezeki...bo layan bnde2 camni..."

Man I hate shortforms.

The words in bold would be more truthful if he's a hardworking, dedicated worker who spends all of his working time (from 8:30am-5:30pm) actually WORKING instead of posting up to 20 videos per day and updating up to 17 statuses (yes, I counted. Now get off my lawn)  EVERY working day. I don't think it's in my place to question the berkat-ness of his rezeki but man, it's hard not to. Really, what makes you think that those people who gathered at Jalan Duta are good-for-nothing piece of shits? Can you honestly say that you, a person who spends his working hours watching videos on Youtube and posting them on Facebook are better than them?

Bitch please.

Please, don't ever think what these street demonstrators did is beneath you. At least they have something to believe in, unlike a lalang like me, and maybe you too. Doesn't matter lah who/what they believe in is something/someone as shady as those politicians whose names I don't want to mention but still, they believe.

It's sad to see that everything is politicised nowadays but it's sadder to see that some people are using religions for their own personal gains. And yes, I'm talking about you, Hasan Ali p/s kalau sebut nama dia 80 kali pun takpe.
