I'm very sad to hear the breakup of White Stripes. I'm putting "never saw White Stripes live in action" as one of my biggest regrets in life, alongside "never told every Celcom/Maxis/Digi/P1 Wimax broadband salesperson to go the fuck off even though I was tempted".

Everytime I listen to this song I'm blown away by the fact that absolutely no one ever thought of that riff before this song existed. So simple and yet so complex, it's such a contradiction.

All sadness put aside. Oh btw, before I start rambling, I think I should warn you I'm about to show a very geeky side of me here. Go on reading if you're not bored already.

Everyone (okay, maybe not everyone just us geeks) are buzzing about the Batman 3 (or The Dark Knight Rises, which is too meh for my taste) cast. It has been announced that Tom Hardy will play the villain Bane and Anne Hathaway is Selina Kyle.

Take note, Selina Kyle, not Catwoman (that's what ALL official announcements said anyway) which makes me think that this will only be a minor role and Anne Hathaway will not be donning the catsuit. Let's go for the stretch and say that Selina Kyle will be a sidekick of Batman. I always think that Selina Kyle/Catwoman is more of an antihero rather than a baddie because she's never evil. Misguided and mentally-ill maybe, but never evil.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

So these past few days, there's a delicious rumour going on about Joseph Gordon-Levitt is in the talks to join the Batman 3 cast, which, I don't know, kind of reaffirms an earlier rumour about him playing a villain? Riddler or Hugo Strange maybe? Nolan has said earlier on there will be a known villain and 2 unknown villains (to the non-comic fans at least), which might be Bane and Riddler/Hugo Strange and someone else.

I'm a bit miffed about the Bane thing actually. I don't care whether Bane will crack Batman's spine (ooops, spoiler alert?) or what, a juggernaut (or anyone who relies on only brawn) is just too meh for me. I was rooting for someone crazier like errr....Black Mask or Hush :D but then Nolan has to make a whole new story about the connection between the Sionises/Elliots and the Waynes yada yada yada and then the next thing you know Batman 3 is a 4-hour movie.

So, who's the someone else? I have a very strong feeling about it being Ra's al Ghul's daughter, Talia (note: when I google-imaged Talia al Ghul, some of the results were very errr.....interesting to say the least). Talia bore Bruce Wayne a son, Damian, and since this is the final instalment of all instalments, I think Nolan adds Talia to the mix to conclude the trilogy. Talia, not Selina Kyle, will be Batman's love interest.

I hope a relatively unknown actress will play Talia al Ghul just for the hell of it but knowing Nolan (chewah, macam jiran sebelah rumah pulak), maybe not.

Sorry have to let that out of my system and my siblings are getting sick of hearing me talking about that 24/7 kikikikikikiki.

Went to one of the Uptowns last night and I bought a pair of RM50 Levi's jeans. This tag caught my interest.
