Degradation of the language

This video is going viral fast and I might as well share it with you.

I'm not gonna talk about this video though because I want to talk about the COMMENTS for this video.

Since I love print-screening and all,

I forgot to add "only". And my print screen skillz are going places y'all.

The comments section is rich of 2 things, 1-comments that have short-forms in them, and 2-comments written in very bad English.

You get what I mean now? Iyerp, the irony.

This is why I hate short-forms. Short-forms degrade languages, be it Malay or English or any other languages. Everytime I make an issue for not knowing that "lau" is "kalau" and "lam" is "dalam" (CONTOH) I would get laughed at and called "tak cool langsung". Well if being cool is associated with using all the "laus" and "lams" in the world then I'm okay with not being a part of the cool people.

And the saddest part is, even though I hate short-forms with a passion, I still use them sometimes. Wait, that's the second saddest part. The saddest part is I've written at least 5 posts about this short-forms issue and not one person (not even me) takes it seriously.

This is another thing altogether, but please lah, if you want to keep your engagement an effing secret, maybe you should restrain yourself from writing about it all over the place and updating your status 3 times before the ceremony begins.

Anyway, I don't understand why some bloggers think that whoever criticise them are haters. And please lah don't think that I have the slightest bit of jealousy about your nuffnang earnings or how many millions of visits you get per day. Sorry to disappoint you guys lah kan, but I don't even have a nuffnang account.
