Okay here goes.
My firm audits one of the biggest sporting organisations in Malaysia. For an upcoming big event, a team has been formed to observe the selling of the tickets and the count of the cash. The thing is, the team consists of only males. The reason? Because it's a sport usually associated with males (they say lah).
I can safely say that I have more knowledge about the sport than the combination of the 7 males. And yet, I'm overlooked because I have ovaries. Ashamed to admit that I cried a bit. This is not the first time something like this happened. Just last month, the males were chosen for a very, very, very cool job because it was too "dangerous", as they said.
How the fuck can something as mundane as cash-counting or physical sighting be considered as dangerous is mind-boggling.
The firm is not only full with racist people, it's also full with sexist people. Oh and 99% of the people are worse hypocrites than me. I just want to smack the hell out of those people's heads everytime I see their faces.
I don't know how long can I stand working in this environment.
