Waiting for a War

It's 1:36AM and I'm still awake. Gonna have a bloody good time tomorrow at the office.

Oh talking about office, I think my officemates think that I'm this ditzy, stupid bimbo haha especially this one boy. Man I don't really like him that much. We have lots of mutual friends, yeah I don't know how something like that can happen (answer: he got his degree from UiTM). So anyway, once, we both looked at our work schedule for the next week and I casually (chewah, casually) asked "Kenapa ramai sangat yang cuti isnin (30/8) nanti?" What I meant was, a group of people took leave on that day so they must have some programmes planned out together (I later found out they went for a group holiday). And he said "Selasa tu kan cuti, itu pun nak tanya lagi ke?".

Whatever you say lah budak.

Last Monday he sent me to some LRT station because he wanted to buka puasa at The Curve and my family was already waiting for me at our buka puasa place. Dalam kereta Ya Rabbi, I felt like choking the life out of him because he made me feel like I was an idiot. I hate those kind of people, the one yang suka matikan cakap orang lain (I don't know the exact terms but you get what I mean). You just can't have a decent talk with him!

It's unfortunate because he could be a great auditor if not for his attitude problem. Oh talking about attitude problem, there will be an appraisal this month. There's a rumour that he'll be left out and someone who's more junior than him will be promoted. When he heard about it, you know what he said? He said "Perangai elok pun kalau kerja tak bagus buat apa? Bagus lah naikkan orang yang tak layak." Oh emm gee, priceless I tell you.

He taught me a lot so bad-mouthing him feels wrong somehow but oh what the hell.

Anyway, a senior of mine wanted me to transfer some songs to his hard disk drive. When he gave me the HDD, he said, "Jaga elok-elok, ni ofis punya." And I answered "I know, Kak ___ punya kaler pink." And he said "Memang lah perempuan punya kaler pink, mana elok kalau lelaki guna kaler pink."

What I meant was, I know the HDD belongs to the firm, not that he needs to use a pink HDD too.

It seems like everyone in the office and me cannot agree to anything. They said one thing and I thought they meant another and vice versa. Confusing I tell you.

And I can safely say that audit is not the life for me.

Please don't take this the wrong way but sometimes I feel that some Malays can't seem to put it in their brains that Malaysia has non-Muslims too while the other races feel like we the Malays owe them something for the hardships they endured a long time ago. Why can't we look past our differences and be united instead?

Okay stone me. I'm the most racist person I've ever known but even I feel like shitting on those unity claims.
