Seriously penaaaat

I have to say that I like working actually. I just don't know whether I like working there.

I just found out that a group of people are leaving the firm soon. I think since I started working at the firm, at least 12 people have left. I lunched with one of them today and I'm pretty sure I smirked when she said "Kerja nak mati pun kat ___ (my firm's name) je, cuba kat EY, sedap sikit bunyinya".

I wanted to tell her that EY extended their offer to me hehe but heh, malas betul nak melayan orang macam ni. It's not as if the difference in salaries between the big audit firms is that big too, cuma kurang like RM50 here and there. Serius malas. Dia sorang je lah yang bagus, dia sorang je lah yang kerja banyak, dia sorang je lah yang tertekan, dia sorang je lah yang dapat 4 job offers. Tapi last-last pilih firm ni jugak zzzzz.

I'm not defending the firm, trust me, this firm's office politics is more dramatic than any cerekarama. You have to play your cards right. If you don't suck up to your superior's asses, lambatlah naik. Plus, they give little chances to Malays to naik pangkat. I know these people are frustrated already. I would too if I've been working for almost 2 years and I'm still a junior even though I work as hard as the associates and I can do a better job than most of them. Yeah it happens to one of them. He's leaving the firm too. He teaches me a lot sadly. I'm so going to be lost without him after this.

I just wish that these people realise that they're still young, most of them are 2 years younger than me anyway. Masa ni lah nak kerja teruk apa semua. It's not as if all of them are married already pun. Nak penat, penat masa ni lah. Firms lain pun sama jugak. Jangan lah compare kalau tak tahu.

And if you don't want to do audit, then why did you apply there in the first place? Pelik betul. Thank God you're leaving.

I think Paul the sotong has a thing for the colour yellow. He always chooses flags that have that colour. And Spain luckily has more yellow than Germany. The outcome of that match had nothing to do with Paul, it's just fated to be that way.

So if my theory is right, that explains why that immigrant bitch didn't pick Netherlands. Go Sneijder!!
