ScarJo is overrated in the looks department

I really wish that movie-reviewers and album-reviewers do their research first before they write something like this. I can't believe he dared to mention Robocop 2, Iron Man 2 and Transformers in the same review. And what a self-indulgent review that is! Goodness, even I can write better.

But then, I should've known that a The Star writer would write something like this when they praised The Losers. Trust me, The Losers has nothing to be praised about. It was flat, draggy and the only reason why I stayed until the end was because the movie has Jeffrey Dean Morgan a.k.a Robert Downey Jr #2. And since I've mentioned those two, I should also say that Javier Bardem completes the trio. Yes, I know, I've said it so many times but you haven't got bored of it yet, right?
I like Javier Bardem the best even though he's the least good-looking of them all. There's something about him that separates him from those two. Yes, I know. I've said it over and over again too.

What do I think of Iron Man 2? It's easily the best movie I've watched this year but sadly, it's not as good as the first one. Understandable because it's not easy to fill in the first instalment's shoes, which is still one of the best superhero movies of all time to me. The Dark Knight beats Iron Man by a slim margin in my book only because Iron Man has Gwyneth Paltrow. That's all. I can't stand that woman. She's an overrated actress.

Just like Iron Man, Bobby (my nickname for RDJ) is the reason why Iron Man 2 is as good as it is. That man is ridiculously talented. Oh and Whiplash too. I like him, his fake Russian accent and all. If you read the Iron Man comic books a bit, you'd know that Whiplash is not Russian and Ivan Vanko's alter ego is Crimson Dynamo. I read somewhere that Whiplash in the movie is an amalgamation of both Crimson Dynamo and Whiplash to avoid armour on armour confrontation overload like the first instalment. I still don't understand why they're making him Russian though. Because they want him to be in any way connected to the Black Widow? But (spoiler alert!) he died at the end of the movie. Hmm...I have a feeling they're building towards an Armour Wars storyline in the third instalment too. It's a bit of a stretch but not impossible.

I've a soft spot for Mickey Rourke. I like him a lot even though his face looks like it's gonna melt anytime soon and he seems like he's not right in the head due to all the drugs he consumed and the beatings he received, I guess. Actually, I like a comeback kid story. Like Bobby, he pulls all odds and works them in his favour. I heard that he's the front-runner for the Genghis Khan biopic too (as Genghis Khan). Another big budget project, good for him! I'm still bitter that he didn't win that Best Actor award though, because I know he's not gonna get that chance again. Sadness.

Oh and I flinched when Whiplash whiplashed those vintage F1 cars. I almost shouted "Those are multi-million-dollar cars, you jackass!" So faint-hearted people, it would be best if you stay away from Iron Man 2. I flinched everytime ScarJo came on the screen too. Goodness, even a kayu can act better than her. And she's not as beautiful as I once thought.

I think the biggest problem with Iron Man 2 is that it's just too much. Too many subplots, too many villains, too many clusters, everything is just too many. Tony Stark and Whiplash are awesome. The rest can go to hell for all I care.

I had tremendous fun during my Pulau trip. Dear God, Kapas is so, so breathtakingly beautiful. Too bad I met some whiners too but oh that didn't detract the fun a bit.

That's not me, in case you're wondering.
