Rangkap satu

Today is a weird day. You know, when something weird happens to you, another weird thing will come along. Well, and those weird things came in droves today.

First weird encounter

When I was on my way to the class today, a woman came up to me and asked me for some money because she said she "hasn't eaten in days and she can't work because she has to take care of her child'. ( I call bullshit on that one). I couldn't react at first because I was truly flabbergasted hahahaha! And then I couldn't think of a reply and I quickly said, "Saya kena belok sini" lepas tu lari laju-laju hahaha. Seram okay!

Second weird encounter

I'm spending the night at a friend's house because we're going to another friend's wedding tomorrow. So a classmate dropped me at the Kuala Lumpur Station, the first time I stepped there in years! When I was still in school, stesen tu lah yang dijejak tiap-tiap minggu sebab nak melepak dekat CM! Taktau apa yang seronok kat CM tu dulu hahaha. Tapi tadi nak naik komuter pun tak tau kat mana. Buta public transport betul.

Third weird encounter

I only have RM5 and a few cents in my purse. I left the ATM card at home and the only card I have is the Visa. Hahaha tadi melilau pergi semua bank tapi tak boleh nak withdraw! Habis credit tadi call hotline, rupanya tak boleh nak withdraw sebab MEPS tak activate lagi. Bedebah betul. So when the friend picked me up at the komuter station I immediately said, "jom pergi cari ATM, dalam wallet ada RM5 je!" Tapi tak jumpa jugak bank nye. Tak guna betul. Tadi makan guna duit dia hahaha. Segan betul.

Note: Please note that my Visa doesn't have a lot of money too. Orang sengkek memang macam ni. TnG pun guna ayah punya sebab sendiri punya tinggal RM2 je. Hopeless betul.

Fourth weird encounter

Okay this is not weird. More like awesome anyway. FAIZAL TAHIR'S ALBUM FTW! Man, Adrenalin is going to be epic. I think the second best thing FT has done since he has become an artist is to have that Slash-haired dude in his band (the best thing he has done is to have me as a fan, thank you). All the songs have that raw, edgy quality that only a few albums can produce (I can think of only one actually; Is This It? by The Strokes. I'm sure there are lots more) and they totally compliment his voice. Maybe FT underprocessed (as in the opposite of overprocessed?) the album on purpose? One of my favourite tracks off the album is Adrenalin.



0:17-0:31 is the reason why I love this song more than I love any other song in that album. Man, all that shredding almost drives me to ask the Slash-haired dude (I don't really know his name but trust me, his hair is very Slash-like) to marry me. Really.

The second best song has to be Karma. And Superhero. And Hanyut. Okaylah semua pun suka lah. The album artwork is beautiful too. Take that you haters. You can't find a better album than this one, trust me.

Okay lah, so only the first encounter is weird. But oh well, whatever.
