1. Today is Ummi's 25th birthday. Happy birthday, Ummi!
2. Damn Liverpool couldn't even do the job right. Meh betul.
3. Damon Salvatore is giving me the vapours in a major way.
4. Okay, I'm kinda sad today. One of my beloved shorts are now a kain buruk. So what if the shorts do look like a kain buruk with the torn self and eternal ugliness, I loved the shorts :(
5. I really, really think that it's tacky when a person keeps on talking about his/her purchases. Just the other day, an acquaintance of mine talked all day long about a Guess? handbag she just bought (coincidentally, I think that Guess? handbags and jeans are tacky and garish too-I know, I'm weird) and the way she told everyone about it, it's like nobody else but her can afford that shit. I don't even know her that well to compare our purchases, which I ended up doing because she kept on saying, "tunjuk lah, tunjuk lah" when I refused and that annoyed the hell out of me.
6. Okay, I behaved like that girl too hahaha but she made me pissed.
7. Damn I didn't know that Slash has an album coming out.
8. 2010 is gonna be a great year for music. Movies failed me (as of until now).

1. Remember when I wrote that I don't understand why people like to differentiate between a band from a group? Here's another thing, I also don't understand why people like to differentiate a singer from a musician. Don't give me that bullshit that one can play musical instruments and the other one can't because the voice IS an instrument. I really hate it when people break these things down.
2. I was having an argument about Taylor Swift with a friend (don't ask) when this shit came up. And I just want to add that writing your own songs and winning some dubious awards don't warrant you an instant credibility that you're much better than anyone else. Hell, Avril Lavigne writes her own songs and I think she's the biggest shit the last decade has coughed out.
3. And stop that nonsense that she's a great songwriter, my 14-year-old sister can write better songs than that and my sister has a dubious taste in music. If she IS a great songwriter, then the musical scene must be in a more dire state than I think.
4. I've watched the video for Imma Be. And dear God, my hackles rose when I heard that Will.I.Am (Are.You.Not ?) said that the stuff they're singing is the "sound of the future". I bet you that in 28 years, people won't remember their songs anymore but people will still remember the Beatles songs. And I just predicted a future for us all. Thank me now.
