I should be happy but.....

...but surprisingly, I'm not. Okay lah, I am, a bit.

I'm in a generous mood today so don't be surprised.

Now here, I'd usually rejoice if that team lost but man, even I was appalled to see how abysmal the defense and the midfield were. And Roon! What happened to him? His performance was below the par today but that was okay compared to Carrick. What an overrated ass. Coupled with poorly taken free-kicks and weak corners, man, the team was simply outclassed by the Toffees. They deserved the win.

OG was nowhere to be seen today and I was a little disappointed in him. I was looking forward to his presence :(

You know what made me pissed about the game? The fact that Rodwell was booked for taking off his shirt. Unsporting behaviour my ass. As long as they don't have furry (not hairy) chests like some players cough*Giggs*cough (I still have nightmares about that), then it's fine by me. I've always thought this rule stinks (among others actually, I can think of at least 300 absurd rules in football). I mean, it's just a celebratory gesture, so where's the harm in that? It doesn't hurt to see their beautiful bodies (albeit covered in under-shirts sometimes) too.

So, as an advocate for everything beautiful, I really think that the rule is shit. Those morons at FIFA don't know the meaning of the word "beautiful" even if it bites them on their butts.

I think those were some goals scored in this game. Absolutely stunning.

Even though some of the boys had some good runs today, overall, I think that was a meh performance but oh well, a win is still a win. I know we can definitely play better than this. I almost shed a tear when the team was given a penalty. Felt like it's been a while since any of those was gifted to us.
