Only God knows what the hell is that (see title) supposed to mean. I got that from a Freemason website.

I woke up at 6AM today. I'm pretty proud of myself. And Shahriz called me yesterday. Actually, I missed her calls. Yup, she called me 3 times but I just tidur mati last night. Penat lah. Minah ni pulak suka call orang lain tengah-tengah malam--->memang takde kena-mengena tapi saja nak bagitau.

I've always liked Robert Downey Jr. I think he's very charming. But if I have to choose only one from the three of them (RDJ, Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Javier Bardem), I'd choose Senor Bardem. Why? Because I simply like him more (especially in No Country for Old Men). I think RDJ is the best looker among them though.

Oh before that, I owe Ummi an apology. We planned to watch Sherlock Holmes together but I already watched the movie with a couple of other friends yesterday. Actually, we wanted to watch Dr Panassus but we got pwned by GSC-again. The gsc.com.my stated that Dr Panassus was supposed to start YESTERDAY (31/12) but for some reason, they moved the date to TODAY (1/1). I even asked a GSC staff when Dr Panassus is going to be shown just for the hell of it. And he answered;

"Ermm...aaah...errrr...saya pun tak pasti lah".

WhatTheFuck? I know more about GSC than a GSC staff. That's like saying I know more about E equals to MC square than Einstein. If that doesn't convince you to vote me as Queen of the World, then I don't know what will.

So anyway, about Sherlock Holmes. I have to say I liked the movie for the simple reason why I liked Iron Man; Robert Downey Jr. That guy can sure act his way from here to eternity. Just like Tony Stark, RDJ's Sherlock Holmes is funny, charming and way too sarcastic for his own good (a man close to my heart). I can't help but compare SH to Fight Club though. The similarities are too obvious to be ignored.

The things that totally caught my eyes are:

1. The bathtub and plumbing.
2. The Temple of Four Orders, because of its similarities with Freemason.
3. Boxing (see, Ummi, I knew that all those historical romance novels you lent me would come in handy one of these days).
4. Lord Blackwood.
5. The bromance between Holmes and Watson.
6. Why the dialogues between Holmes and Watson are more entertaining and interesting than the rest.
7. Watson's receding hairline.

And after a thorough study (man, I should get a doctorate for my effort on reading about the Freemasonry alone. That shit is extensive. And by extensive, I mean, extensive), I've concluded that:

1. Why? Because the tub was copper and the plumbing was kinda modern (to me, at least). Copper+Water+Salt=??? *You get what I'm saying?*.I have to get back to you on that, because last night's reading about the plumbing in the 19th century was making me sick and nauseous. Man, a goat has a better bathing habit than the 19th century people.
2. I've always been fascinated with fraternity organisations, real and fictional because I love conspiracy-theorising. Freemason, The Scion, Super Junior crazed fan clubs, Kelab Pengawas Sekolah, etc, etc, those things are just fascinating. These organisations are/were more organised than some organised religions. New World Order and other bullshits are just conspiracies, and most conspiracies remain just that, conspiracies, with no evidence to support the claims. But then, like a friend once said, "Kalau takde angin masakan pokok bergoyang. Persoalannya cuma sejauh mana betulnya". Actually she was talking about gossips, but I guess it applies to everything that happened in this world.
3. In the 19th century (especially in the later half of the century), boxing was a gentleman's sport. Yes, it was illegal in those days and yes, it related to another illegal, bigger vice, gambling, but the fact remains, it was a gentleman's sport. Makes one wonder whether Holmes was really as poor as portrayed or was he of a noble lineage. My head is spinning from reading too many words that I can't find the answers I'm looking for.
4. It's Mark Strong. I thought that he was Andy Garcia at first! It turns out that he was Septimus in Stardust, Archy in RocknRolla and Hani Salaam in Body of Lies! And here's the punchline, I thought Andy Garcia was Archy too!
5. Actually I saw some gay romance, not bromance. I think those 2 women were there to remind us that Holmes and Watson were heterosexuals. And I think it wasn't working. Work that gay love affair, brothers!
6. Yeah, I'm still puzzled over that. I can only attribute that mistake to different screenwriters. Or maybe RDJ and Jude Law improvised their own dialogues. Yeah, maybe. I also think that RDJ's English accent is cute.
7. That's God's work, my friends. You don't question a God's work. Nope.

Sherlock Holmes is a cool movie, no doubt about that. But, just like I said earlier, Sherlock Holmes is Fight Club of the 19th Century, only with less ardour and less zeal. I was really disappointed with the predictability of the storyline though. Halfway through, I could definitely guess the ending. Haih, I blame all those conspiracy-theorising cells I have in my body. Takes out a piece of joy in everything.

Okay bye. I'm going on a family holiday trip and I haven't packed anything. Can't ignore the old lady's nagging too.

**Okay so I published this post on Saturday. I did write this piece on Friday but my Dad switched off the modem before I could click the "PUBLISH POST" button. And I was too lazy to edit anything. Plus, I'm sunburned and I'm pissed (since morning until now) because I couldn't find a parasailing spot.
