So anyone who knows me knows how dying I was to be a part of the BDO 2010 because I couldn't make it to the BDO 2009. I'm sad to say that I can't make it too next year because the prices of everything; the flight tickets, car rental, accommodation, food; just about everything is digging a hole in my wallet. I can't simply afford it. Plus, there's a big possibility that my family will be going on a holiday this December.
Let's look at the math shall we?
BDO '10 ticket = AUD 140 + booking fee = RM 450 ( +/-)
Return flight tickets = RM 2,150 (+/-)
Accommodation (for a week) = RM 1, 800 (+/-)
Car rental ( for 5 days) = RM 400 (+/-)
=RM 4, 800 (+/-)
And that my dear, doesn't include food. Even if I scratch out the car rental part, it would still be more than RM 4, 000. And I don't think those 25 acts are worth it.
Now I just have to wait for BDO '11 instead.

My aunt has a friend who's living in Melbourne. And return air ticket going to Melbourne with Air Asia does not even reach RM 2,000.00. Tolak banyak tak if like that? Hehehehe.
mungkin tolak banyak. but then, there's the issues with accommodation and food again. haih.

but I don't even know her.....I have a mind to bunk at Marcus's place but even though he won't mind, i need to think thoroughly.
you know what pains my ass the most in this? the fact that my dad said i have to use my own money. pfft!
