Jem is truly outrageous

Something is wrong with this picture and I don't know what it is.

This blog has turned into a trash hole. It's been a while since I wrote anything about my life at all. Lately, all I wrote were about the types of music that I listen to but nobody gives a damn about-except for a few embarrassing Korean songs (oh by the way, check Crystal Stilts and Cursive. They're awesome), the rants about Facebook users, football (which I amateurishly wrote) and about nothing in general. I wonder why people still give a damn about this blog knowing that they'd end up with disappointments. On second thought, actually, nobody gives a damn about this blog, as what my feedjit tells me.

My life has become boring, work is getting more boring, and the studying....well the studying....erm...oh look! Ada Jem and the Holograms laa!

I had a row with my Mom last week, but then that was nothing new. Okay....what else? Nothing. That's what I can come up with. I can only come up with nothing.

Oh I forgot to tell you that I conducted a social experiment on myself. Since on weekdays my Facebook homepage is filled with sympathy-baiting posts (and lots of comments too!), I've decided to post one myself. I wrote Wani ..... is suffering from a severe depression.

And what a disappointment. I expected more than 40 comments and yet I only got 2. I felt oddly neglected by their non-comments. Maybe I should write something more extreme like "I hate my life", "I want to commit suicide tomorrow", "I'm slitting my wrist now!" or "Don't wanna live in the now, don't wanna know what I know" or something along the line.

Okay lah, that last example is a line from In The Now-Cursive but it fits. Plus, Ijan would say something like "Get a life, Wani!" or "Sign up for Twitter la makcik!" or something along the line so I think it'd be better if I leave it at that.

Or maybe, I should write quotes like;
  1. Learn as much by writing as by reading-Lord Acton.
  2. When we remember we are all mad, the mysteries disappear and life stands explained-Mark Twain.
and you can google them yourself if and when you have the time (which I know you do). People simply LOVE to comment on those kinds of posts. Since I like to read dlisted.com and watch The Simpsons (I've been watching a lot of The Simpsons and Jem and the Holograms lately), I'd definitely prefer these quotes than the ones I just wrote:
  1. I hope I didn't brain my damage. -the ever brilliant Homer Simpson.
  2. Me fail English? That's unpossible!- Ralph Wiggum. "School Mommy" is the best though.
  3. The Count on Sesame Street is scarier and more captivating than those preening whack vamps from Twilight-Master Blaster (a dlisted.com reader)
  4. I'm normally not a praying man. But if you're up there, please save me, Superman- the Isaac Newton of our time, Homer Simpson.

Of course there are more, like the one about Speed (the movie) but Homer called it "The Bus That Couldn't Slow Down" or something like that (I'm too lazy to google this morning) and the fact that sometimes I like to use the word "young" instead of "old" when I write about how old people are. e.g. Ijan is 23 years young. The Simpsons, there can't be another show like it.

Or, I could come out with my own sayings, seeing that most of what came out of my mouth are quotable too but I'm too afraid that people would think that I'm the Shakespeare of our time and before I know it, terms like Wani-ism (which means that you're Wani-ed. You'd dress like me, use Wani-approved languages and you'd even think that Jem is the most powerful hero the world has ever seen) and Wani-hartos (which means Wani's die hard fans) would exist. So, I'm being considerate, you know. Don't want the world to get more obsessed with me than it already does.

Actually, I wanted to write about what happened to me yesterday but I couldn't come up with the appropriate words. I just want to say that people can be so inconsiderate sometimes I wonder why I still believe in humanity. Rasa macam nak menangis pun ada. Yesterday was my "angry at the world and people in general" day so maybe it'd be better if I don't write it down.

D'oh!

note: I started this post last night but I was too sleepy to finish it. So, this is an early Wednesday post, not a late Tuesday post.
