I Could Have Danced All Night

When I first heard that they're going to do a remake of My Fair Lady, I prayed to high heaven that it would turn out as shits because My Fair Lady is one of my favourite movies and I loved (and still do) Audrey Hepburn more than I love my Gerard Butler fix (okay, I'm kidding). But seriously, it's easier to look for the Talibans than to emulate Audrey Hepburn's performances.

So, my ass was mightily glad to know that they cast Keira Knightley as Eliza. Yes I know she's a fine actress but even her fine acting can't save this barffest. Besides, for someone who's lighter than my one arm, she doesn't look like she can carry that much responsibilities. That was, until I saw who's rumoured to play as Higgins.

DANIEL CRAIG.
I just want to say that I'm not hating on the remake anymore.

My favourite scene from the movie. Oh I absolutely love those hats!

p/s: A commenter on Youtube (PeterFirthFan) said that My Fair Lady is a "racist, sexist, classist, misogynistic (he spelt misognistic but my spellcheck won't let me repeat that) piece of crap". Actually, the movie portrays the society back then perfectly. This is a satirical movie, it makes fun of everything.

What a stupid dumbass.

Gua punya faveret retro actress si audrey ni. Back then most actors and actresses were brilliant and kinkyishly majestic. Takdak cgi, budget kecik. Maybe its the black and white pictures that makes retro movies more dramatic.

I prefer the black and white cyrano de begerac over the gerard depardieu version anytime.
