third day and still clueless.
A.P.A.M is 28 years old and her real name is Shikin. i'm still recovering from the shock of knowing that she's 28 years old because she looks years younger. i thought that she was younger than me. her ringtone is Crying Lightning for goodness' sake! oh well, it doesn't matter. she looks like a nice person (i came to that conclusion after 4 hours of knowing her) and she's a big fan of Arctic Monkeys. she even went to the Big Day Out to watch them live.

so, yay me. my first new friend for the year of 2009 (discounting the Auditor Hensem, of course-sorry, it's not old yet) and i'm already jealous of her.
a cousin called this morning. she's a nurse at the Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Hospital in Klang and she told me something interesting. she said that the total number of H1N1 cases in Malaysia is much, much higher than what is reported by the media. i don't know whether it's true or not, but i'm just repeating what she said. if that's true, then we're in a worse fix than we think we are. we're running out of antivirals and there are only two labs in Malaysia that do the testing of the throat swabs. that explains why most hospitals refuse to do the throat swabs, but still...we're dealing with human lives here. i think most of us know how overworked hospitals staff and all, but there's no excuse for them to be rude either.

hahaha byk hospital xmau buat throat swabs cz mnde tuh mahal..my mom bru buat last 2days kt some private hospital n yeah fucking expensive..naseb baik ade insurance..n oh! saye pon demam..dh 3 hari xgi klas ha..ha..ha..
kalo mahal tu tak kisah, tapi masalahnya banyak hospital yang refuse outright utk buat throat swab. macam adik k wani ari tu, walaupun ada rep letter daripada Pusrawi, tapi Hospital Serdang masih taknak buat. tengok chroniclesnya di sini. daripada private clinic pergi ke Pusrawi pergi ke Hospital Serdang. Pusrawi suruh pergi Hospital Serdang sebab kat Pusrawi takde alat utk buat throat swab tu.

ha~ kakak kte cerite lg best..dier pnye patient dr pakar gigi ape eh org panggil orthodentic? ape2lah..dier the head officer of some private hospital..n dier pnye patient sume international...so dier dtg ah hospital university n try check n nk buat dat throat swab tuh..if u xckup criteria for h1n1 deorg mmg xbg buat..which dr gigi tuh x fulfill 1 of the criteria which not more than 4hrs n less than 3feet dr suspec or smtg..pastuh dr gigi tuh dh marah2 n he willing to pay..dier nk jmpe dgn specialist kt situh dah siap gaduh2 n report tah mnde sumer..still xbg gak buat throat swab tuh..kesian kot..
agaknya lepas dah separuh Malaysia ni mati baru diorang nak serius.
