making every vote counts

I've been having some very ummm, weird (but interesting) dreams about the James Bond for several nights now.

you see, ever since my harrowing experience with Flash Gordon (the film), blonde guys turned me off. even the golden looks of Brad Pitt and Heath Ledger couldn't make me believe in their beauties. needless to say, I've been lusting for guys with dark fair since then.

but, Daniel Craig makes me believe that all is good and well with this world.

to call him handsome is really stretching it. but the only right word that i can think of when i think of him is dashing. oh, he looks dashing all right. he makes my female heart goes all flutter and makes me wish that the person who got the chance to roll in the sack with him should have been me instead of the unnecessary Ms Fields. Damn, she was lucky.

some friends have been asking me why do i like him so much with all those wrinkles and his not-so-perfect face. but then i like his wrinkled face. at least i know that he doesn't turn to botox to make himself pretty.

so...

what do i think of the movie?

for me, the movie is just average. the camera should have been stationery instead of dogging all the actors' steps. there are also unnecessary moments when they explain too much of everything. the screenwrites probably never heard of the phrase "some things are better left unsaid".
but, you know what? i don't mind with the film's weaknesses because Quantum of Solace gives me more of Daniel Craig than i think i could possibly get. so, thank you, producers, and thank you, God, for creating him.
