for one whole day the internet in my house couldn't be connected. thank God it's working right now, because i nearly died of boredom. i can't imagine my life without internet, because for one whole day i felt like i just stopped breathing. it felt like the oxygen i inhaled was not enough. in short, i felt like dying. that's how i felt today.

enough about that. i watched the first 5 minutes of the most anticipated movie of the year, The Dark Knight yesterday, and all i can say is it looks wickedly good. even though Heath Ledger appeared only in the 2 minutes out of the 5, watching him, it made me chilled to the bone. he was beyond cool. he didn't act his part, he was the part. it wouldn't even surprised me if he even won an oscar out of this (as tipped by everyone in hollywood). the last time i was so taken by an actor was when i watched Javier Bardem as Chigurh in No Country For Old Men. everytime he appeared on-screen, my heart beat rapidly, not out of lust, mind you, but out of fear. he even won an oscar for his performance in that movie, if you didn't know about it.

now, about the my favourite topic of discussion, politics. there was a twist in the altantuya's case, as the private investigator who made a statutory declaration about Najib has retract his SD. what in the world has happened? that's what everyone wants to know. and to make matters worse, the riff between the people who believe thatAnwar is innocent and the people who believe he did it is getting bigger and bigger everyday. the tension they radiated is so strong, it's exhausting to just listen to them yammering to each other.

i am a frequent visitor to all sorts of political websites and blogs, most notably Tranungkite and (of course) Malaysia-Today (what happened to MT? i can't get into the web since yesterday). and i cannot believe the comments they posted! as adults, i believe they would behave sensibly and graciously. but no, they post comments that border on unbelievable and stupid. one of the stupidest is,

Lynn, kamu cerdik sangat, apa hukuman dalam Islam yang ada. ?. Wassalam

you know someone is lower than a worm when he started posting comments like this. (the hukuman dalam Islam that he was asking is the hukuman to liwat). goodness, the nerves! this one particular person also yaps at everyone who dare to contradict his statement and makes fun of Islam. not only that, there are 5 or 6 more people like him in Tranungkite, who keep wrongly mixing the duniawi matters and the akhirat matters. Astaghfirullah, orang-orang macam ni pun ada.

malaysia is in chaos right now, and the rakyat demand all the quetions to be answered right now. everyone involved, please do something about it.
