THE DARK KNIGHT IS NOT JUST A MOVIE

an eye-opener, an entertainment, a jaw-dropping epic. you can call it whatever you want, but please, don't phrase The Dark Knight as just a mere movie because it rises above than that.

Christian Bale as the batman, gave a very good performance, although his acting is quite modest compared to what he did with the first installment. as a tortured superhero, he displayed his emotion so well, even though i was more impressed with his bat suit and his super-cool bat pod.

the joker, on the other hand, is a character to watch. in the hands of the late Heath Ledger, the joker was witty, funny, mean, and interesting, definitely one of the best villains to grace the cinema. ( although i still think Javier Bardem as Anton Chigurh in no country for old men is still the best villain, the joker is not that far behind). you will be amazed at how heath ledger threw his body and soul into the character of the joker, you will not remember any other character he acted. he overshadowed everyone in the film so completely you'll remember him long after the film stopped rolling. he'll definitely getting an award from this, mark my words.

the Nolan brothers did a very good job with the film. the storyline is tight, and there is little room for loopholes. the script is very, very interesting, with the most interesting lines were uttered by the scary man, the joker. no, I'm not saying it's a perfect movie. I'm just saying that th dark knight is the best superhero movie, and by far, the best movie in 2008. this movie sets a new standard that i think even the Nolan brothers might find it hard to follow with batman no 3. oh, yes, trust me, there will be a number 3.

scary!
