what a start to the new year!

chua, i really admire your honesty, but to refuse to step down? isn't that stretching a bit? are you not gentleman enough?

i really wanted to ask you this;
did you use condom (or condoms, since it was a one-hour dvd)? because as a fellow malaysian, i'll be very worried if you got one of those sexually-transmitted disease.

there are reports that say that the woman is angelina yam. who is angelina yam? well, i have no clue, but i intend to find out.

celaka betul la syabas ni, takde air pulak time-time tengah cibi ni. ini yang dikatakan efficient seperti yang diwar-warkan dalam tv tu? ini boleh buat orang mengamuk ni.

Malaysian must be more mature about Chua's case. We do not want to fall into the ploy of blackmailing, political and personal sabotage.

We should send the message right, the DVD has nothing to do with Chua political career, he has only his personl life affected and that he has to explain to his family. He will continue to be the Health Minister as he has been doing a good job.

I am most worry that there are other DVD's around and some political leaders are actually following instructions and be the puppet of evidence holders of their wrong doings. The message is to be made right, and help all others to shed off their threat, come forward and help with cleaning up.

Anon: Agree with your sentiments wholely, however the fact that Chua was in a disciplinary committee investigating the conduct (extra marital affair) of one of his underlings, must be pointed out. As he saw fit to investigate others he must now be investigated because of his office, if not he must do the right thing, i.e resign

well he was undoubtedly a good health minister (he resigned today)

morally, he's not bad either. at least he's got enough balls to tell the whole world that it was him. most politicians would highly likely shrug it off with lines like "that wasnt me. that was just someone who looked like me." or even go off the subject altogether and say "we should hunt down the poeple behind the video distribution!"

now that he has resigned, i figured, i kinda like him lah.

as far as confessions go, his was a first to be made publicly, and he did say sorry and resigned, so i guess he is a true gentleman.

it's true his affairs are none of our businesses, but as a public figure and a minister to boot, he should've realised that everything he did was accountable to the public. he must practice what he preach, or people will knock him down ( in this case, he has already knocked down)

whatever it is, good luck to you, chua!
